Having no prior experiences with rehab or counseling services, I was somewhat apprehensive about joining this program. However, from the moment I called to inquire about Awakening Recovery Center to my last day of treatment, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to open up and discuss different issues in my life.

This is a great group of guys that seem to genuinely care about each and every patient they treat, as well as having applicable advice to many different situations. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking to face an active addiction, as well as those that may be unsure whether they are an addict or not.

You have undoubtedly provided me with the strongest foundation possible for my recovery in alcoholism and addiction. I have cycled through numerous counselors over the past two decades and your services and treatment have shown me, through doing the work with you, a better life in sobriety. I have grown as an individual and now a person I am entirely proud of and also can be present for my loved ones whom have seen extraordinary changes that bring tears of joy.

What specifically sets you apart can be summarized here:

Personal experience – as an alcoholic, trust and ability to be open was greatest because the staff were also in recovery.
Compassion – Regardless of a patient’s situation, the staff always provided guidance with compassion even if it was not what I wanted to hear but it certainly was what I needed to hear to face reality and rid denial.
Minimal Overhead – The simple nature of your offices was proof that providing treatment and counseling services came first over fancy amenities.
Availability – I could call the team at any hour and get in touch with anyone in time of need; since the team is close knit, it was as if I had four counselors and not just one.
Continuous Resources – Your program promotes a continued growth and maintenance in recovery with the available counseling sessions for months and months beyond group. This was not only made available to me but my family as well. Everyone in my family (husband and mother) received invaluable counseling which not only helped them but me as well. Additionally, ARC is tightly connected with the community and treatment profissionals and always had a referral for any other specialty.

They have it figured out at Awakening Recovery. First of all, everyone who works there is very approachable and easy to talk to. That makes it easier to share what’s going on. More importantly, they gently push you to do the work, to uncover the root causes and factors contributing to your addiction. And it’s all done in an atmosphere of love and understanding.

My husband and I felt lost and did not know how to help our young adult son who struggled off and on through his teenage years with addiction. He is so fortunate to have been referred to Jeff & Jason who have guided him in this day by day process of recovery.

They really speak his language and have helped him turn around his negative thinking into a positive mindset, helping him determine his short and long term goals and building on what he learned in a local residential rehab center. Awakening Recovery Center basically saved my life.

Straight out of detox I was faced with a sober life and no coping skills. Awakening provided the tools and taught me how to use them in my life. The group sessions allowed me to share my experiences with others with encouraging and helpful feedback. The individual sessions really helped me find the root of my drug use. Not only did I identify my issues, they helped me work through them with encouragement.

After the eight weeks of IOP, I feel confident with my tools provided, and the recovery plan to stay sober. And if I feel like I’m falling, I know they will be here for me to pick me up.

Awakening Recovery Center changed my life. I came to Awakening not really wanting to be there and believing that I didn’t need help to deal with my issues. I really didn’t want to talk about the things I had done or been through.

I hit my rock-bottom and was looking to get help. I came across the Awakening Recovery Center on an Internet search. Jason and Scott were very helpful in getting an appointment set up quickly for me, literally the next morning. I started group the next day.

I had a bump early on in recovery, which I was ashamed about myself, but everyone is very supportive and told me it was OK. I got back on the path to sobriety, finished my group sessions and feel so free now.

I will continue to come see the guys for my personal appointments. Everyone here is so supportive and treat you like a life long friend.

We were lost and not sure at all where to turn to for help for our son. My wife and I have done our best to find an addiction recovery that would not only help him in the moment, but guide him through Changing to a life of sobriety successfully.

At the first meeting with Awakening Recovery Center we instantly knew we had found knowledgeable, committed and most of all, passionately inspired counselors that would not only guide our son, but listen to understand his story in order to meet his individual needs.
